The impact on the world economy is detrimental, with markets collapsing, airports are shut down, logistics are crippled, and major cities are in lockdown. In one month, this global halt has led many businesses to cave in, creating a chain reaction of layoffs, defaults, and pushing many workers and families to face hardship and uncertainty. Our prayers go out to all of those who are struggling right now, either because they can’t work, or because they have no choice but to work, even with the risks.

Yet despite the negative impact on many businesses, this crisis is representing opportunities for many others. It is interesting to know that some of the most successful businesses were launched, or have pivoted their business models, during recessions and crises.
